Robert Sheehan and Sofia Boutella

Robert’s most high-profile romance was with fellow actor Sofia Boutella, who he began dating around 2014 (per LiveRampUp). Sofia is a best known for her roles in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), Star Trek Beyond (2016), and Climax (2018), among others. The two were spotted making public appearances numerous times over the years, however by 2018 the Klaus actor confirmed he was single.

When talking to the magazine Hot Press, he said of their relationship post-split, “We still love each other a lot. We still acknowledge that, you know.”

Elsewhere in that same interview with the Hot Press magazine, Robert discussed this topic honestly, opening up about his experiences being with men. “I think it would be irresponsible not to question my sexuality,” he admitted, before adding, “I had a couple of experiences when I was younger with dudes where I tried it, experimented, to see if it did anything for me. And it didn’t.”
