Finally, some Stranger Things season 4 news is here!

On Thursday afternoon, the writers from Stanger Things shared an image on their Twitter page of the full season 4 scripts as they have been completed and ready to roll! We shared the tweet below!

This is some exciting news for all the fans of Stranger Things!

There have been several reports that Stranger Things season 4 will be nine episodes, and based on the picture of the scripts, that is what we will be getting.

We also know the first episode is titled “Chapter One: The Hellfire Club,” but that’s the only episode title we’ve seen so far.

For the most part, the full season scripts aren’t usually completed until about halfway through the season of which they’re currently filming. It’s been reported that the Duffer Brothers and writers like to write the episodes and make adjustments, if necessary, as they film.

The number one question among all Stranger Things fans right now is when will production and filming resume. Due to COVID-19, production is currently at a standstill. It’s been three months since Stranger Things stopped production and there are no reports on when filming will resume.

Coronavirus numbers continue to spike throughout the United States, including in Atlanta, Georgia,  where season 4 will be filming. Cast and crew members will not resume filming until it is completely safe to do so.

Before Netflix shut down production, cast and crew members were in Lithuania for about two weeks filming before they came back to the U.S. to begin preparation for filming in Atlanta. Stranger Things season 4 locations have also been confirmed for New Mexico.

Rumor has it that the first two episodes of season 4 have been completed, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

With production shut down, this will obviously affect the release date for season 4. David Harbour mentioned in the past that the new season was scheduled to be released in early 2021. At best, we can hope for a Fall 2021 release date but even that doesn’t look too promising.

With the kids growing up fast and production not happening, I can see why people are worried about this season and it possibly being the last one. Although it’s possible, as I’ve stated before, I believe they’re aiming for five seasons total, and with Duffer Brothers behind this, I see no issues in that happening.

Despite all of the negative news about Stranger Things 4 production being at a halt, seeing that image of the Stranger Things season 4 scripts being completed makes our hearts happy!
