New Lucifer season 5 set images has Lucifans speculating what’s to come in a sure-to-be magical episode! Here’s everything we know about the highly anticipated musical noir episode so far.

It wouldn’t be Lucifer if the series left without a bang! And, if the new set images are any indication, this is going to be one amazing season!

The final season of the beloved series invited E! Online to their set where they filmed a very special musical noir episode. We’re not only super jealous of the source but have gathered must-know details for you, below!

Fans have a long list of things they want to see happen in Lucifer season 5. From a wedding to more action, many things and events need to happen in order to leave fans satisfied. However, I don’t believe a musical episode is on the wishlist of many, but leave it to the cast and crew of Lucifer to surprise us all with a little treat.

With an upcoming season consisting of 16 episodes, there’s a lot to look forward to! But I’d say this musical episode is at the top of our list! From ET! Online’s coverage, here is everything we know:

We’ll be seeing some of our favorite characters head to an alternative universe in the 1940s. This is only a one-episode special that was shot entirely in black and white.

Now, we already know Lucifer Morningstar has a nice set of pipes! But, in the upcoming episode, Tom Ellis is going to further stretch his singing talents and be joined by Lesley-Ann Brandt’s Maze. According to the source, the pair will “sing a period-specific classic, though the exact song will remain a surprise.”

It’s time to speculate! Which song do you think (or would you love to see) Lucifer and Maze will perform? Excuse me while I shuffle through some of the 40s biggest hits.

As excited as you may be about this episode, you’re likely asking why we’re going to the 1940s. Well, according to the handsome devil, Ellis, himself, this trip down memory lane is necessary to answer “the question a lot of fans have been asking…” Hmm, interesting!

Finally, though you’ll see other familiar faces, they will all “be playing wildly different characters from the ones they normally portray.” All in all, this sounds like it’ll be as much fun to watch as it was for the cast and crew to create.

This is going to be the final season’s fourth episode, which is titled “It Never Ends Well for the Chicken.” What are you most looking forward to from the final season?
