Schitt’s Creek season 5 is coming to Netflix very soon!

According to Netflix’s See What’s Next Twitter account, Schitt’s Creek season 5 will be added to Netflix on Thursday, Oct. 10. That’s not too long of a wait to see the next season of one of the best comedies on TV right now.

The first four seasons of the hit series are streaming on Netflix right now. You have plenty of time to get caught up before the new season hits the streaming service.

Schitt’s Creek season 5 consists of 14 episodes. The season premiered on CBC in January 2019 and its season finale aired in April. The new season, then, hits Netflix six months after the season finale.

Schitt’s Creek has already been renewed for season 6. So far, the season does not have a premiere date. We’re expecting season 6 will premiere on CBC and Pop TV in January 2020. Every season of the series so far has premiered in January of their respective release years. Again, you should have plenty of time to get caught up before the season premieres.

Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Dan Levy, and Annie Murphy star in the series.

Unfortunately, season 6 will be the final season of the series, which is such a bummer because this show is so good. Along with The Good Place, Schitt’s Creek is one of the most enjoyable comedies on Netflix right now. If you are looking for a show to binge-watch, this is one you should definitely check out on the streaming service.

Season 6 is also coming to Netflix, but it’s not going to be for a while. As mentioned, the new seasons are added to Netflix exactly six months after they air on CBC and Pop TV. I hope that happens for season 6, but there’s usually a little longer delay for final seasons of popular shows. We’ll let you know more about season 6’s arrival on Netflix when we find out.
