Looks like The Crains are going to have a little family reunion at the Bly Manor for Haunting of Hill House’s season two.
Before you get a little too excited, let me tell you that the Crain family isn’t really coming to resume their parts for The Haunting’s season 2, but the actors are indeed returning. Netflix already confirmed the presence of Victoria Pedretti and Oliver Jackson before and the latest to join in the anthology horror is daddy Crain aka Henry Thomas.
Ever since it was revealed that the show is turning into an anthology like American Horror Story, fans of the Haunting of Hill House have been secretly wishing for the original cast to return and it looks like it is really happening!
Taking to his Twitter, the creator of the Haunting series, Mike Flanagan, announced that Henry Thomas has officially joined the cast of The Haunting of Bly Manor.
Flanagan also added that there’s more to come and he will be spilling the beans about the cast in the next two days! Who else do you think is going to come back? We personally would love to see all of the cast back again to play different characters.
The upcoming season is based on Henry James’ horror novella The Turn of the Screw which revolves around a young governess and two orphaned kids. She comes to the Manor to look after them but soon she realizes that there is something not quite right about the castle and its inhabitants.
Nell Crain will be playing the part of the governess ‘Dani’ in Bly Manor and her ‘twin’ Oliver Jackson is playing Peter, “a charming young man who lives at Bly.” Carla Gugino has been rumored to return as well but I guess we’ll find out soon enough if that’s true or not.
The Haunting of Bly Manor is set for a 2020 release. Will you be watching? Season 1 is currently streaming on Netflix.
