The terrifying story of the Crains might be over but Victoria Pedretti and Oliver Jackson-Cohen from Haunting of Hill House are returning for The Haunting of Bly Manor.

When Haunting of Hill House debuted last year on Netflix, it wrapped the world in a blanket of fear and scared people so bad, they couldn’t sleep for days. Created by Mike Flanagan, the horror show was received extremely well by the critics, and naturally, the show was renewed for another season earlier this year.

Titled The Haunting of Bly Manor, the production of the highly anticipated second season of the horror anthology will kick off this September. And, to the joy of fans, most of the original cast of the show is returning for the new horror adventure based on Henry James’ The Turn of the Screw.

According to Variety, Victoria Pedretti, the actress who played Nell Crain in Haunting’s first season, has joined the cast of Bly Manor and will be portraying the role of the governess who will look after two very unusual children.

The Haunting of Hill House’s official Twitter account has also confirmed Pedretti’s return by tweeting a video. “Nellie Crain may be gone, but Victoria Pedretti is returning to the Haunting universe in The Haunting of Bly Manor coming 2020!” they captioned the clip in which Victoria reveals she will be playing Dani.

And since twins float together, Oliver Jackson-Cohen aka Luke Crain is on board, too!

He will be playing Peter, ‘a charming young man who lives at Bly’ and according to Oliver, his character makes life difficult for everyone else.

In an interview with The Wrap, Jackson previously revealed that the upcoming season is going to be “very, very exciting.”

Carla Gugino, the mommy Crain, is rumored to return as well. When asked whether she will be joining Bly Manor, the actress said, “I can’t say anything definitive at this point, other than Mike and I really love collaborating and working together and any opportunity where a schedule allows for us to do that, we will. I would be honored to. So we’re talking a lot about it and we’ll just see if all schedules allow. All I can say is I’m very excited for Season Two and to see what Mike does.”

We honestly would love to see the original cast back again, playing new roles in Bly Manor. Are you excited for season 2? It is scheduled to release next year on Netflix!
