The Haunting of Hill House season 2 will begin filming this September
Desperately waiting for the next chapter in Haunting series? Well, season 2, aka The Haunting of Bly Manor, is all set to begin filming this coming Sept!
Fans of horror and mysteries, we have some good news! The second season of Haunting franchise you are impatiently waiting for is finally moving forward and according to Discussing Film, The Haunting of Bly Manor is gearing up to begin production Sept. 30 in Vancouver, Canada.
Created and directed by Mike Flanagan, the first season of Haunting of Hill House debuted last year, terrifying audiences to the core. The story of the Crain family got us all hooked to the show immediately and now the series is returning with an all-new, equally creepy season.
Titled The Haunting of Bly Manor, the second season of the horror anthology will revolve around Henry James’ horror novella The Turn of the Screw. In case you haven’t read it, the book is about a young governess who comes to the Manor to look after two orphaned kids but soon she realizes that there is something not quite right about the castle and its inhabitants.
With the production yet to begin, season 2 of Haunting is aiming for 2020 release. As far as the cast is concerned, our beloved ‘bent neck lady’ Nell Crain is returning to Flanganan’s anthology. She will be playing the lead role of the young governess called Dani.
Nellie’s twin and hottie Luke Crain is on board as well and we will be seeing Oliver Jackson-Cohen in the horror show once again. He will be playing Peter, “a charming young man who lives at Bly.” According to Oliver, his character makes life difficult for everyone else.
Carla Gugino, the scary mommy Crain, is rumored to return too but the same has not been confirmed by Netflix yet.
