Typewriter on Netflix concludes its first season with many cliffhangers! Here are the five biggest questions season 2 needs to answer.

Any Netflix connoisseur knows there is more to the streaming giant than the big, most promoted shows. For every Stranger Things and Orange is the New Blackthere’s a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. We have already recommended the comedy Kim’s Convenience, the lighthearted series deserves more love. And today we’re here to suggest a horror series, Typewriter, you’re missing out on!

Typewriter is an Indian horror series that follows a group of kids desperate to catch a ghost and prove they exist. There’s a sweet reason they are doing this, though, and it truly tugs at your heartstrings. The group’s leader is Sam (Aarnaa Sharma), a young girl who lost her mother and wishes nothing more than to see her again.

Sam hopes that if ghosts do exist, she can see her mom again. The other kids are just along for the ride and in it for fun. I have previously described the series as Stranger Things with a way smaller budget.

Don’t go into the series thinking you’re in for some mind-blowing special effects. On the contrary, some scenes are disappointing. Let’s just hope if Netflix wants another season, the budget for more episodes increases.

This brings me to my next point. Typewriter has not yet been officially renewed for another season. It debuted earlier this summer, July 19, so we should learn something here pretty soon. Once we do, we’ll be sure to keep you posted!

In the meantime, assuming you have already seen all season 1 episodes, let’s dive right into it! The finale likely left you with many questions! Typewriter takes cliffhangers very seriously, because it leaves audiences with several. It’s obvious series creator Sujoy Ghosh had another season in mind when wrapping the final episode.

Needless to say, spoilers are ahead if you have yet to watch Typewriter season 1 on Netflix! Watch the first season (it’s only 5 episodes) and return to dive into the mysteries we are left with.
