Fans are anxiously awaiting news about the Stranger Things 4 release date on Netflix. Unfortunately, we don’t know much yet, but it does sound like the new season is already in the works, despite the lack of a public renewal announcement.

Stranger Things 3 was a massive success for Netflix with its Fourth of July 2019 release date. You can guarantee all parties involved will be looking to capture lightning in a bottle again for the release of Stranger Things 4. 

According to a report from Production Weekly, Stranger Things 4 starts filming this fall. That’s great news for fans of the series. With the new season premiering this summer, there was a chance they might have to wait until spring or even the fall of 2020 before they started filming.

Because they are starting in 2019, there’s a decent chance we could see Stranger Things 4 on Netflix next year. That’s probably the best-case scenario for the new season.

With a massive show like this, there’s always the chance of production delays and more, so we don’t want to get our hopes up to high that we’ll see the new season in 2020. It’s definitely possible at this point, though.
