Synopsis: Schitt’s Creek follows the Rose family, a very wealthy and spoiled family who purchase a town as a joke a few years ago. Well, that joke comes in handy when the family loses every penny and have no choice (other than become homeless) but to move to the town of Schitt’s Creek and restart their lives.

Why you need to watch: Schitt’s Creek is another gift from our Canadian friends! What can we say? They’re comedy geniuses, it is us Americans who need to learn to appreciate the material! Schitt’s Creek has a strong fan base, but not many are aware it’s streaming on Netflix. Schitt’s Creek is hilarious from the beginning, you are sure to love it!

If you don’t believe me, watch the first episode and if you’re not laughing within minutes, you need to be checked out by a doctor. Each season is 13 episodes long, but the episodes don’t run over 20 minutes, so it’s a quick binge sure to leave you laughing.

Need an escape from all the horrors and dramas on TV lately? Who doesn’t? Schitt’s Creek is the comedy to turn to.

The series premiered on CBC TV and will debut its sixth and final season, wrapping up the longtime show. At Netflix, the first four seasons are available. Season 5 is expected to drop once the sixth premieres on its original network – so be sure to catch up this summer!
