American Vandal

American Vandal is one of my favorite shows on Netflix, and obviously, I was really bummed out to see this end so soon. The series, which was produced by Funny or Die, was a true crime mockumentary that spoofed all those true crime documentaries like Making a Murderer and the others like it.

In the first season, the show focused on a pair of high school students, Peter and Sam, who are making a mockumentary about a student, Dylan, who had recently been expelled from their high school. Dylan, a known drawer of male genitalia on anything and everything, was accused of spray painting them on the cars in the staff parking lot. He claims he didn’t do it.

In the second season, Peter and Sam travel to the suburbs of Seattle to solve the mystery of “The Turd Burglar” at a prep school. This Turd Burglar poisons the lemonade during lunch at the school and causes a “Brown Out.”

This is one of the best and funniest shows on Netflix. You have to check it out if you haven’t seen it yet.

I think everyone expected this great series to continue at Netflix for a long time, so it’s really unfortunate we only got to see two seasons of this Netflix original series.
