Is Ruby alive? Netflix shared the first look at On My Block season 2 in a new clip, and fans are wondering if Ruby is still alive. On My Block season 2 premieres on March 29.

On My Block season 2 premieres on Netflix on Friday, March 29. For about a year now, fans of the hit Netflix original series have been wondering if Ruby and Olivia are still alive following that cliffhanger ending.

Netflix finally gave us a little more clarity on the subject in the release date announcement, which featured the first few minutes of the new season. We shared the clip below.

Obviously, this includes a spoiler for the new season! If you don’t want to know a little about what happens in the new season of On My Block don’t watch the video and don’t continue reading. It looks like Ruby is alive! Netflix seemed to confirm as much in the new video and in the captions for the new video on Facebook.

We also checked out the new images from the Netflix Media Center, and it looks like the show has shared an image of Ruby and the other main characters from the new season. It doesn’t look like a flashback to me, so I have to imagine this means that Ruby is, indeed, alive and doing well, or as well as could be expected after suffering trauma like this.

Hopefully, that’s not too big of a spoiler heading into the new season. It looks like the series will pick up right after the events of the season 1 finale. The trailer for the season should be released later this month.
