You season 2 adds Gotham’s Robin Lord Taylor

Robin Lord Taylor has joined the cast of You season 2 on Netflix and things just got interesting!

This isn’t to say we weren’t excited for the second season of You on Netflix, but Robin Lord Taylor? Now we truly can’t wait for the follow-up season to arrive! Deadline exclusively broke the news, the Gotham star has booked You with a recurring role.

Fans recognize Taylor from his work on Fox’s Gotham, where he wonderfully plays Oswald Cobblepot. Gotham has had its up and downs, but Taylor’s performance is one of the few things in the series that has always stood out as one of the best things about the show. Be it drama, anger, or a brief moment of compassion, Taylor knows how to put on an act. He’s going to make an amazing addition to the growing cast of You.

According to Deadline, Taylor will play Will in the upcoming second season. Will is described as dealing with the “unsavory sorts as part of his job, but is himself a thoughtful, personable, and highly intelligent guy who marches to the beat of his own drummer. That is, until he gets trapped in a bad situation.”

Could this “bad situation” have anything to do with Joe Goldberg’s (Penn Badgley) arrival? We’re definitely betting so! After all, where Joe goes, trouble (and death) follows.
