You season 2 adds Heathers star Adwin Brown

The cast of You on Netflix is growing as Adwin Brown has officially joined to season 2.

Netflix is rapidly increasing its cast for the upcoming second season of You. Earlier last month, The Haunting of Hill House star Victoria Pedretti, who portrays Nell in the horror drama, was announced to be joining the cast as the female lead. And now, Adwin Brown, who you may recognize from Heathers and The Fosters, has also been brought on board.

Deadline broke the news and shared details about Brown’s role. According to the source, Brown is taking on the role of Calvin, who readers of the You novels know as the manager of a high-end grocery store. How will he tie into the story? We’ll have to wait and see!

While it hasn’t been made official yet, it’s likely You season 2 follows the second book, Hidden Bodies, by Caroline Kepnes. The synopsis for that book is: “Joe Goldberg came to Los Angeles to start over, to forget about what happened in New York. But in a darkened room in Soho House everything suddenly changed. She is like no one he’s ever met before. She doesn’t know about his past and never can. The problem is, hidden bodies don’t always stay that way.”

Intriguing! Who is “she” the synopsis is referring to? Probably Love Quinn, the character Victoria Pedretti has signed on to play.

"“[Pedretti] will play Love Quinn, an aspiring chef working as a produce manager in a high-end grocery store. Love is uninterested in the world of social media, branding and self-promotion, focused instead on leading an interesting life.
