First, we got an extended look at Wednesday season 2 near the end of Netflix Tudum Live 2025, and one thing is clear: The new season is going to be dark. Really dark, but it's also going to be a lot of creepy fun.
Plus, we didn't just get to see a bunch of Wednesday scenes, but it was also confirmed that Lady Gaga would be part of the cast. Then, the divine one herself came out and did not just one song, but a handful. She was magical as she always is (though the "abracadabra" is likely to haunt you for some time to come).
The entire Tudum event was worth it. We saw a bunch of new trailers drop, such as Frankenstein, Happy Gilmore 2, One Piece 2, and Stranger Things. Every one of them appears to be a banger, and we cannot wait for the releases.
Netflix Tudum 2025 closed out perfectly with Wednesday montage
We also found out that Stranger Things will be released in three parts. The first part will drop on November 26 at 8 pm ET, the second part on Christmas Day at 8 pm ET, and the finale on New Year's Eve at 8 pm ET. Having a specific primetime drop is new for Netflix.
But the Wednesday part was likely best. Most of the cast was present, and we already knew the release dates for the next season. The first part will be released on August 6, 2025, and the second part on September 3.
If the new season is anywhere close to how entertaining the close-out was for Netflix Tudum, it's going to be fantastic. And just in time for Halloween as well.
