Our Netflix watch lists got a lot more action-packed with the release of The Night Agent season 3 on Feb. 19. The fan-favorite Netflix action-thriller returns with the fearless Peter Sutherland taking on a new mission, which delves into the case of a Treasury agent on the run after being accused of killing his boss. On top of everything, Peter's still beholden to the harrowing whims of The Broker.
The Night Agent season 3 brings back plenty of past cast members, including (of course) Gabriel Basso as Peter Sutherland, Amanda Warren as Catherine Weaver, Fola Evans-Akingbola as Chelsea Arrington, Louis Herthum as Jacob Monroe, Albert Jones as Aiden Mosley, and Ward Horton as President Hagan. Unfortunately, Luciane Buchanan isn't back as Rose Larkin.
But in addition to returning cast members, The Night Agent season 3 also welcomes some new friends and enemies for Peter. Taking on the roles of these high-profile new characters who have either series regular or major recurring roles are familiar faces you have definitely seen before. Let's get to know the five biggest new characters and learn where you remember that actors from!
Warning: Spoilers ahead from The Night Agent season 3!

Suraj Sharma as Jay Batra
Suraj Sharma plays financial analyst Jay Batra, who's the Treasury agent accused of killing his boss at FinCEN after the company received sensitive, high-profile SARs. If you were wondering, Jay didn't actually kill his boss. The gun went off accidentally, but Jay wasn't responsible. While Peter helps Jay, he ultimately gets capture by Jacob Monroe, but Jay's later integral to revealing the truth.
Aside from his latest role in The Night Agent, you have seen Suraj Sharma on your screen before in film and television. He starred in Ang Lee's Oscar-nominated film Life of Pi, Million Dollar Arm, Happy Death Day 2U, and the Netflix romantic comedy Wedding Season. On the small screen, Sharma appeared in episodes of Homeland and God Friended Me and was in the main cast of Hulu's How I Met Your Father.

Genesis Rodriguez as Isabel De Leon
Genesis Rodriguez stars as Isabel De Leon in The Night Agent season 3 and is essentially the new female lead. While she doesn't take Rose's place in any regard, most especially not as Peter's love interest, she's his unlikely partner during the mission. A reporter for The Financial Register, her own investigation intersects with Peter's. Oh, and she's also revealed as Jacob Monroe's daughter!
Prior to starring in season 3, Rodriguez has had a long career in film and television, appearing in such movies as What to Expect When You're Expecting, Identity Thief, Tusk, Big Hero 6, and Delirium. She has appeared in many American television series, including Entourage, Time After Time, The Umbrella Academy season 3, Neon, and Lioness season 2. Netflix fans definitely remember her from The Umbrella Academy.

Jennifer Morrison as Jenny Hagan
Last season on The Night Agent, we met Ward Horton as the new President of the United States, Richard Hagan, who took over for President Travers. Jennifer Morrison makes her debut in season 3 as First Lady Jenny Hagan, a devoted wife and mother, who also runs a nonprofit organization. However, she's quickly revealed to have some shady dealings of her own that helped her husband get elected.
Morrison's might be one of the most familiar new faces in the series, having been a fixture on the small screen for many years. She played Dr. Allison Cameron on House beginning in 2004 for six seasons and had a major guest starring role in How I Met Your Mother as Zoey Pierson before leading ABC's Once Upon a Time as Emma Swan for six seasons. Morrison has also most recently been seen in episodes of This Is Us, Will Trent, Tracker, and All's Fair aside from her work as a director.

David Lyons as Adam
David Lyons arrives in The Night Agent season 3 as Peter's mysterious new partner Adam, who breaks into Peter's apartment and announces his new role as being sanctioned by the President. As it turns out, Adam was one of Hagan's old buddies from the war and was brought into Night Action as someone Hagan can trust to help secretly clean up his messes.
While Lyons is definitely recognizable from his work in movies like Eat Pray Love and Safe Haven, the Australian actor has extensive work on the small screen in titles like ER as Dr. Simon Brenner in seasons 14 and 15, Revolution, Seven Seconds, and Apple TV's Truth Be Told. Most recently, Netflix audiences saw him in the hit original miniseries The Beast in Me.

Stephen Moyer as The Father/The Assassin
Another face that most viewers will recognize, Stephen Moyer stars in The Night Agent season 3 as a character known as The Father but doesn't receive an official name. Maybe you'll refer to him as "the assassin," since that's his role: A paid assassin for Jacob Monroe. He's revealed to have kidnapped and unofficially adopted his son (played by Callum Vinson) as a baby after killing his parents.
Moyer's perhaps best known for his breakthrough role in the HBO supernatural horror series True Blood, in which he played vampire Bill Compton. The English actor has also starred in such television series as The Starter Wife, The Gifted, Fortunate Son, Elsbeth, and Art Detectives. He also appeared in the popular movies After Ever Happy, After We Fell, and After Everything.
