Netflix has already been spoiling us this free with some great new releases, even beyond the original series like East of Eden, Below, and The Diplomat that have been keeping us entertained so far in October. The streaming service has been delivering exciting new TV shows to binge-watch like Felicity, Percy Jackson & The Olympians, Schooled, and others set to arrive soon.
We're going to be getting a lot more laughs on our Netflix watch list this fall with a fan-favorite CBS sitcom heading for its debut on the streamer. Just a few months after signing off the air with its series finale this spring, The Neighborhood is welcoming a new crop of fans to the block with seasons of the long-running comedy arriving on Netflix this fall.
The Neighborhood seasons set for Netflix debut in November 2026
Mark your calendars! The Neighborhood begins streaming on Netflix in the United States on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2026. While Netflix didn't explicitly state how many seasons are set to drop just yet, What's on Netflix reports that all eight seasons of the sitcom are likely to drop all at once rather than the series hitting the streamer in multiple batches.

The Neighborhood premiered on CBS back in October 2018 and boasted a quartet of well-known names from sitcoms past in present in its main cast: Cedric the Entertainer (The Steve Harvey Show), Max Greenfield (New Girl), Beth Behrs (2 Broke Girls), and Tichina Arnold (Martin and Everybody Hates Chris). No wonder the series was hit that ran for nearly a decade.
After 155 episodes, The Neighborhood came to an end with the conclusion of its eighth and final season in May 2026. The series remains a favorite in syndication on the small screen but has only been available to stream on Paramount+ thus far. Like other CBS sitcoms Young Sheldon and Mike & Molly that have found success on Netflix, it's sure to follow suit.
For those who have never watched the show, The Neighborhood takes place in Los Angeles as a Midwestern couple Dave (Max Greenfield) and Gemma Johnson (Beth Behrs) move their family to a predominantly Black neighborhood next door to Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer) and Tina Butler (Tichina Arnold). But the Butlers aren't accustomed to the Johnsons' Midwest charm.
Throughout the course of the series' eight seasons, the situations evolve as the Butlers and Johnsons become closer friends and more characters are welcomed beyond the two central families. The Neighborhood eventually spawned the spinoff Crutch starring Tracy Morgan as Calvin's cousin, though Paramount+ canceled the series after only one season.
Another proposed spinoff series centered on supporting characters Malcolm (Sheaun McKinney) and Marty (Marcel Spears), though CBS ultimately didn't pick it up to series. Regardless of what the future might hold for an extended franchise, The Neighborhood will no doubt get a second life shortly after officially ending its run thanks to being put in front of millions of new viewers on Netflix.
Don't miss your chance to move into The Neighborhood on Netflix beginning on Nov. 5!
