Territory cast guide: Meet the Lawson family and more characters!

Watch out, Yellowstone! There's a new Western family in town thanks to the Oct. 24 release of Territory on Netflix. The Australian drama series centers on the Lawson family and their Marianne Station cattle station and the various rivals looking to swoop in and pounce on the dynasty's plans for succession in the midst of a personal family tragedy.
The action-packed drama series has all the makings of a new binge-watch obsession for viewers who can't get enough of shows like the aforementioned Yellowstone, Succession, Dynasty, and various series about taut family businesses and the social politics that define their past, present, and future. Anna Torv as Emily Lawson

Torv stars in the leading role of Territory as Emily Lawson. She's the wife of Graham Lawson, daughter-in-law of Colin Lawson, mother of Susie Lawson, stepmother of Marshall Lawson, and sister of Hank Hodge. Emily is one of the invaluable members of the Lawson family working at Marianne Station. Without giving anything away, Emily just might have a couple secrets up her sleeve...
The actress hails from Melbourne and studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Australia. She had a breakthrough moment in the United States as one of the leads of the Fox sci-fi series Fringe, which aired for five seasons between 2008 and 2013. She then appeared in shows such as Deadline Gallipoli, Secret City, Mindhunter, The Newsreader, and The Last of Us.
Michael Dorman as Graham Lawson

Dorman stars as Graham "Gray" Lawson, the son of Marianne Station's domineering leader Colin Lawson and the brother of the late heir Daniel Lawson. He's married to Emily Lawson and he's the father of Marshall and Susie Lawson. Graham was previously married to Marshall's mother before she passed away when their son was young. In the series, he battles addiction and abuse.
The actor was born in Auckland, New Zealand and studied acting at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane before making his television acting debut in 2002 on the Australian drama series The Secret Life of Us. He's gone on to appear in titles like For All Mankind, Patriot, Joe Pickett, and Netflix's hit series One Piece as Gol D. Roger.
Robert Taylor as Colin Lawson

Taylor stars as Colin Lawson, the intimidating and staunchly traditional head of Marianne Station. Colin is the father of Daniel and Graham Lawson, father-in-law of Emily Lawson, and grandfather of Marshall and Susie Lawson. He has as many enemies as he does allies, and it's hard for him to trust in anyone to make decisions about the future of his home.
Like his on-screen daughter-in-law, Taylor comes from Melbourne. He attended the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) in Perth. Most viewers will likely recognize him from his leading role as Walt Longmire in the series Longmire, which aired on A&E and Netflix. Taylor has appeared in a number of movies and shows, including The Meg, The Newsreader, and NCIS: Origins.
Sam Corlett as Marshall Lawson

Corlett stars in Territory as Marshall Lawson, the rebel son of Graham Lawson and stepson of Emily Lawson. He's the grandson of Colin Lawson and half-brother of Susie Lawson. He's also close friends with Rich Petrakis and Sharnie Kennedy, who he has a not-so-secret crush on. Marshall is in line to inherit Marianne Station, but he struggles with falling in line with his family's business and mistakes.
The actor was raised on the Central Coast in New South Wales and worked as a model before becoming a professional actor. Corlett first made waves when he starred as Caliban in parts 3 and 4 of the Netflix original series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. He also had a leading role in Netflix's Vikings: Valhalla, which ended after three seasons in 2024. Corlett made his film debut with the 2020 drama The Dry, which also starred Territory costar Joe Klocek.
Jay Ryan as Campbell Miller

Ryan stars in the series as Campbell Miller, one of the rivals of the Lawson family who just might have an unexpected connection to Emily. His motives, intentions, and loyalties often come into question. The actor comes from Auckland, New Zealand and has been working as an actor since 1998. He's perhaps best known to American audiences for his role in The CW series Beauty & the Beast. Ryan is married to Dianna Fuemana and together they share one daughter born in 2013.
Philippa Northeast as Susie Lawson

Northeast stars as Susie Lawson, a determined and ambitious member of the Lawson family hopeful to have an active place in the Marianne Station dynasty. She's the daughter of Graham and Emily Lawson, the half-sister of Marshall Lawson, and the granddaughter of Colin Lawson. In the series, she begins something of a forbidden romance with Lachie Kirby, the son of a wealthy rival.
Like her on-screen mother and grandfather, Philippa Northeast is from Melbourne, Victoria and has also starred in the Australian drama series The Newsreader. Northeast hasn't had a breakthrough role in the United States, though she will star alongside Leighton Meester and Luke Cook in Good Cop/Bad Cop, The CW's upcoming co-production with Roku and Stan set to premiere in 2025.
Joe Klocek as Lachie Kirby

Klocek stars in Territory as Lachie Kirby, the son of businesswoman Sandra Kirby, whose interests don't necessarily align with those of the Lawsons. Lachie attempts to break out of his "rich boy" persona in various ways and begins dating Susie. The actor comes from Brisbane, Queensland and most recently starred in the fan-favorite Amazon Prime Video series My Lady Jane, which was canceled after one season. He'll next be seen in the Stan series Invisible Boys.

Delich co-stars as Rich Petrakis, one of Marshall's rebellious friends from outside Marianne Station. He's dating, or at least romantically involved with, Sharnie Kennedy and becomes a bitter member of their love triangle with Marshall. Rich seems to have designs on stealing from the wealthy. The actor has few acting credits but has appeared in Netflix's film Spiderhead alongside Chris Hemsworth, the horror movie Christmas Bloody Christmas, and the new Disney+/Hulu series Last Days of the Space Age.
