Sullivan's Crossing season 3 reportedly coming to Netflix very soon

We have some good news for Netflix subscribers waiting to stream Sullivan's Crossing season 3! The new season, which just aired on The CW this spring and summer, will be added to Netflix shortly.

According to a report from What's on Netflix, Sullivan's Crossing season 3 will be released on Netflix starting Aug. 11, just a little under a month away at the time of publishing. Even if you haven't started your binge-watch of Sullivan's Crossing on Netflix yet, you still have more than enough time to catch up before season 3 hits Netflix later this summer.

Sullivan's Crossing is the sleeper hit of the summer on Netflix. After knocking Squid Game season 3 from the No. 1 spot on Netflix, Sullivan's Crossing has held on for about a week as the top show on Netflix US. It will probably stay that way until Untamed starring Eric Bana hits Netflix on July 17.

The first two seasons of Sullivan's Crossing are streaming on Netflix right now. For those who don't know, the series is based on a book series by Virgin River author Robyn Carr. It has a very similar premise to Virgin River, which makes it a must-watch for fans of the Netflix original series.

Morgan Kohan stars as Maggie Sullivan, a young professional who gets into some legal trouble as a neurosurgeon and retreats to her hometown. There, she rekindles her relationship with her father and finds something that looks a lot like love. Chad Michael Murray, Scott Patterson, Andrea Menard, and Tom Jackson star in the series.

Again, Sullivan's Crossing feels a lot like Mel Monroe's (Alexandra Breckenridge) journey to Virgin River in that series. Aesthetically, there are a lot of similarities, too!

Before you fall in love with Sullivan's Crossing, I wanted to also reveal that the series is also already renewed for season 4 on CTV and The CW, where it airs in the United States. New seasons of the series usually air on The CW in the spring and summer, so we should see Sullivan's Crossing season 4 premiere in the first quarter-ish of 2026.

With all three seasons on Netflix soon, you should have plenty of time to watch and probably watch again before season 4 premieres on The CW early next year.

While it's surprising that Sullivan's Crossing is so popular on Netflix, there was definitely reason to believe this show was going to be the next show to get the Netflix bump. We've known for a long time that Netflix can definitely be the catalyst in bringing a lot of eyes to a new show and increasing its popularity. There's evidence of that all the way back to the days of Breaking Bad on Netflix.
