Looking for something on Netflix to watch, but it doesn't have to be a series that is a new one? Shaquille O'Neal, who does have a new series on your favorite streamer called Power Moves, has four ideas for you. He announced as much during a recent tweet.
One thing is certain: Shaq doesn't mind a little violence in his shows. Three of the four he names as his Mount Rushmore of Netflix Originals have a bunch of violence, and the fourth is not that far off.
So, take Shaq's suggestions, and give the shows a watch. They are all excellent, even if he did not care for them. They also give you something to binge-watch this weekend.
Shaq's Mount Rushmore of Netflix shows
Stranger Things
Of course, this one would be because it should be nearly everyone's, right? We have watched on the edge of our seats for four seasons and wondered if the good gals and guys would finally do away with the troublesome Upside Down. We get to find out how it all ends later in 2025.
The snippet does not allow Shaq to expand on why he is choosing the shows he does, but we know it's not all about what is coming out soon. The next series hasn't had new episodes in a long while and never will again. In other words, Shaq appears to be just speaking his truth.
Narcos
This show teaches us a few things. One is that we would not be drawn to moving to Colombia in the 1970s and 1980s because drugs and violence were seemingly everywhere. The positive part is the series gave many viewers it's first look at Pedro Pascal.
Based on his highly successful recent run, one thing appears clear. By 2040, every show on streaming and TV will feature Pascal playing a dynamic character whose job is to help get young people who can change the world to their destinations.
Squid Game
Like Stranger Things, we all love this show. Is it one where the rich overlords will finally get what they deserve, or do the people who don't have much money but are willing to kill other people to get some cash, the bad guys? We don't know, and maybe we don't want to.
That only guarantees we will be tuning in when the final season drops on Friday, June 27. And we can bet Shaq will be watching as well.
Money Heist
Another show that probably won't be making a comeback in this gem. This almost seems a bit like the Ocean's films, but instead, there is one key leader, known as The Professor, who hatches a plan to pull off the biggest heist ever.
The Professor recruits eight people who have zero to lose but have certain abilities. Heck, maybe this is how Squid Game ends. It simply becomes an alternative ending for Money Heist.
