It is February, and it is still cold outside. You don't want to go out there. Stay inside where it is warm. Eat a bunch of junk, and stream a lot of things on Netflix. While Netflix and chill might not have a very direct meaning, you can interpret that as you want to watch Netflix because you don't want to be chilled.
But what to watch? There is a bunch of new stuff every week on your favorite streaming service, but not everything on this list is brand new. Most of it is, though. We won't lie.
That is only because you might not yet have had a chance to see what is suggested. You should take the weekend off from work (or not go out). You should watch these things instead.
What to stream on Netflix this weekend (February 21 through 23, 2025)
Court of Gold
Netflix has produced a large number of sports documentaries at this point, but perhaps no rivals the emotional brilliance of the story of 2024 men's basketball at the Olympics. That isn't just true of the United States team, but Teams Canada, France, and Serbia as well. Maybe there isn't enough of a deep dive into each team because time only allows so much, but the reactions we get from players (win or lose) are fantastic. Now the women's teams need their own doc.
Cobra Kai, Season 6 Part 3
Speaking of reactions and emotions, get the tissues out for the end of this series. If anyone needs a lesson in how to take a beloved film and, decades later, turn it into a beloved original series, this is the show to watch. It had no business being as good as it was.
Zero Day
The reviews for this are a bit mixed, but do you want to trust the critics or the cast? Because that cast is fantastic, including Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, and Connie Britton. Maybe the plot is a bit thin for a former president to look into a cyberattack, but the actors make it close to believable.
Rosebud Baker: The Mother Lode
Instead of just crying and being stressed out from some random thriller, it's time to laugh. Baker lays motherhood all on the line in a brutally honest and terrifically funny stand-up special. While it's mostly about motherhood, you might not want to let the young kiddos watch.
Resident Alien
This series is such a funny goof. An alien lands on Earth, takes the form of a doctor in Colorado, and begins to doubt his mission. The always amazing Alan Tudyk (one of our most underrated actors) stars as the alien. You can look at the movie posters alone and realize he might be happier where he landed than where he came from. Plus, there are three seasons to work through.
Rambo
A bunch of Rambo films have been made at this point (there is even one called Last Blood, which is simply ridiculous), but the first is still extremely watchable because of its unintended campiness. That does not mean to imply that the flick is bad; it's just very mockable. And, well...it's still a hoot to see.
