Spoiler alert: Speed is not currently streaming on Netflix. One can hope it shows up soon because not only is it a stand-alone great action flick, but it is still one of Sandra Bullock's best. And Keanu Reeves's best, too.

The good news is that your favorite streamer has a bunch of other Bullock-led things that are worth watching this weekend. She's great in most things, but some projects are undeserving of her talents. The three below are, however.

If you are looking for something fun, maybe something thrilling, and something to laugh with, and you want it to star Sandra Bullock, we have some suggestions. These might not be Oscar winners, but they are entertaining. That is really all that matters.

Three Sandra Bullock projects to stream on Netflix this weekend

Bird Box

The ending might not be the best, but the premise is pretty solid. The population is fairly destroyed by a force that one cannot look at. Bullock's character, Malorie, covers her eyes and takes her children on a journey to try to reach the one place that might give them safety. The path takes them through woods and a river, and bad stuff ensues.

The journey for the viewer is grand. Some might not even dislike the ending or find it unsatisfying. What matters is how you get to that last bit of the series, and it is harrowing and hopeful. If only one could see their way through what happens last...

Two Weeks Notice

A completely different turn, this comedy stars Bullock and Hugh Grant. He plays a wealthy business owner who mostly has his wealth through his family. He doesn't totally understand what it is like to be one of the normal people, but he also isn't a terrible figure. When he hires Bullock's character, his life changes.

The chemistry between Bullock and Grant, both understanding exactly what it takes to make a rom-com great, is astounding. Is there a lot of fluff? Sure, but you know that going in. The movie still has a fantastic payoff, and you wind up rooting for both lead characters. Neither of whom is a bad person.

The Lost City

The plot sounds like something out of a romance novel. In fact, that's part of the trick. Bullock plays Loretta Sage, who writes a series of extremely popular adventure novels. She goes on a tour to support her latest novel with book cover model Alan (played by Channing Tatum). Sage gets kidnapped by a billionaire who thinks, based on her adventure novels, that she can help him find an ancient city.

Meanwhile, Alan wants to become a true hero and rescue Sage. Or does she rescue him? That's the magic of this, at times, ridiculous film. It is pure fun.
