Office Romance has been one of the most highly anticipated Netflix movies of 2026, and it's finally made its premiere. The romantic comedy starring global superstar Jennifer Lopez and Ted Lasso star Brett Goldstein features off-the-charts chemistry and some of the most unexpected and raunchy romance and comedy from Netflix so far this year.
In the movie, Lopez plays the work-focused Air Cruz CEO Jackie Cruz, while Goldstein steps into the shoes of the more reserved lawyer Daniel Blanchflower. When the Jackie and Daniel begin working together on a lawsuit that Air Cruz is facing, their attraction soon begins to blossom into love. But they have to keep their relationship under wraps to prevent a scandal from erupting.
Between the spice, the workplace relationship, and all the swoon-worthy romance, there's a lot to love about Office Romance. If the movie leaves you wanting more, Netflix has plenty of other original romantic comedy movies that will provide similar vibes. Office romances, keeping secrets, and unexpected sparks are all key elements of these three rom-coms to watch next!

Set It Up (2018)
- Directed By: Claire Scanlon
- Starring: Zoey Deutch, Glen Powell, Taye Diggs, Lucy Liu, Joan Smalls, Meredith Hagner, Pete Davidson, Jon Rudnitsky, Tituss Burgess, Noah Robbins
Back in 2018, Netflix released the romantic comedy Set It Up, and if you'll remember, it's the movie that had the whole internet celebrating that rom-coms were back. Indeed, the movie was really a return to form for the genre, especially since it had been sidelined for so long in the later years of the 2010s. But Netflix bet on chemistry, charismatic leading stars, and a great concept.
Set It Up stars Zoey Deutch and Glen Powell as Harper and Charlie, the run ragged assistants of their hard-to-please bosses Kirsten (Lucy Liu) and Rick (Taye Diggs). Looking to make their jobs and lives a little easier by fulfilling their bosses' personal lives, Harper and Charlie decide to play matchmaker and set Kirsten and Rick up. Along the way, Harper and Charlie fall for each other.
Upon release, Set It Up became an instant hit and word-of-mouth sensation. It doesn't hurt that it's also been certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a 92% score. Since headlining the movie, Deutch has starred in plenty more rom-coms, and this was one of the breakout moments that turned Powell into a major movie star. Don't waste anymore time in turning this one on for a rewatch!

Players (2024)
- Directed By: Trish Sie
- Starring: Gina Rodriguez, Damon Wayans Jr., Joel Courtney, Augustus Prew, Liza Koshy, Ego Nwodim, Marin Hinkle, Tom Ellis
Another romantic comedy that Netflix describes as raunchy, Players premiered on the streamer back in 2024 and features a long list of familiar faces. That's always the greatest part of romantic comedies is recognizing the supporting cast and remembering where you've seen them before. The Players cast includes small screen favorites Gina Rodriguez, Damon Wayans Jr, and Tom Ellis in the lead.
Rodriguez stars as a sportswriter named Mack, who has designed a series of "plays" with her friends, including best friend and coworker Adam (Damon Wayans Jr.), that help them score hook-ups. However, Mack has been looking to find more than a hook-up and settle into a real relationship. She sets her sights on Nick (Tom Ellis), but Mack finds love with an unexpected person under her nose.
Players might be a rom-com that some viewers would write off as "predictable," but knowing how these stories play out are what make them cozy to watch. You might not be surprised with the direction this movie takes, but the cast and the jokes are entertaining and will have you completely charmed. It's the perfect movie to turn on after Office Romance ends.

Kinda Pregnant (2025)
- Directed By: Tyler Spindel
- Starring: Amy Schumer, Jillian Bell, Brianne Howey, Will Forte, Lizze Broadway, Urzila Carlson, Chris Geere, Damon Wayans Jr., Alex Moffat, Joel David Moore, Molly Sims, Dave Atell
Amy Schumer has be the lead in a small amount of romantic comedies, both raunchy and straightforward, like Trainwreck and I Feel Pretty. The comedian's latest movie combines both elements of the genre and turns it into Kinda Pregnant, the kind of comedy that feels nostalgic. But like Office Romance, the story centers on a big secret.
Schumer stars as Lainy, a teacher who becomes jealous of her best friend and coworkers when they become pregnant at the same time. Lainy decides to wear a fake pregnancy belly and pretend to be pregnant to everyone in her life. Her scheme quickly becomes even more complicated when she meets and falls for Josh (Will Forte). Before long, she has to decide how to reveal the truth.
Kinda Pregnant wasn't the most well-reviewed romantic comedy Netflix has ever released, but it's still rather funny thanks to its all-star cast. The best part of comedies that hinge on the main character's secret is how they will manage to get themselves out of the tricky situation and bounce back from losing trust. Like the other two titles, here's another great entry for a rom-com movie night!
