We've got you covered and shared their streaming homes below.

The Equalizer franchise all began with the television series of the same name starring Edward Woodward which aired on CBS from 1985 to 1989. Then, in 2005, the idea of a film adaptation was announced. Washington eventually signed on to play the protagonist in The Equalizer movie, and director Antoine Fuqua signed on to helm the movie while Richard Wenk signed on to write the screenplay. More cast joined later and it was released in September 2014.

But before the movie had even come out, talks were already had about the possibility of a second film. In April 2015, Sony officially announced The Equalizer 2 with Washington coming back as Robert McCall. Later, it was announced that Wenk would be returning to write the script and Fuqua would direct again. Lastly, the third and final movie of The Equalizer trilogy was confirmed to be in the works in January 2022 with Washington, Wenk, and Fuqua returning one last time. It was later released in theaters in September 2023.
