Here's where you can watch Anatomy of a Fall since it's not streaming on Netflix

2023 was another great year for movies, and this award season proves that. Not only did we see the returns of some of our favorite directors like Martin Scorsese, Christopher Nolan, Yorgos Lanthimos, and Greta Gerwig, but first-time directors like Celine Song absolutely wowed us and international films such as Anatomy of a Fall and The Zone of Interest blew us away. From dramas to comedies and everything in between, this past year was a treat for cinephiles.

Anatomy of a Fall, which won the Palme d'Or at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival and has even won two Golden Globes, is one we'd particularly recommend. But where can you watch it?

Unfortunately, Anatomy of a Fall is not streaming on Netflix at the time of this writing. But it's not all bad news! You can still watch the French movie right now if you're willing to spend a few bucks. It's currently available to rent on multiple platforms ranging from $5.99 to $6.99. Where to stream Anatomy of a Fall

We have even better news to announce! Anatomy of a Fall now has a streaming home. On March 22, 2024, the legal drama film will land on Hulu. This is happening because of Neon's deal with Hulu. If you weren't aware, Anatomy of a Fall was distributed in the U.S. by Neon. In 2017, Hulu and Neon inked a "multi-year" exclusive licensing deal, which is why Neon movies like Infinity Pool, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Crimes of the Future, Triangle of Sadness, Titane, and other favorites are available on Hulu. That said, we don't know when the deal is set to expire.

Anatomy of a Fall is about a writer named Sandra (Sandra Hüller) whose husband falls out of their attic window one day and dies. His death turns into a major police investigation into what happened — did he actually fall or was he pushed out? Sandra is a suspect in the case and the movie follows the fallout as she tries to prove her innocence while dealing with her husband's death and supporting their young son Daniel (Milo Machado Graner) as he grieves. The writing and acting in the movie are absolutely superb; not only is Hüller fantastic, but so are Graner, Swann Arlaud, who plays Sandra's lawyer Vincent, and even the dog, who won the Palm Dog Award at Cannes.

At this year's Academy Awards, the movie is nominated for five awards including Best Picture. I'm hoping it wins at least one of those awards. It'd be criminal for it not to!
