Where to watch MaXXXine (since it's not on Netflix yet)

MaXXXine was released in theaters back in July 2024, and it ended up being another box office hit for Ti West's X trilogy. It managed to gross a worldwide total of $20.9 million, making it the highest-grossing movie of the series. But while most people got the chance to see it when it was in theaters, some people didn't. If you're one of those who didn't, we have some good news to share.

MaXXXine will eventually be available to stream on a streaming service. That streaming service is Max. Why Max and not another streaming platform, you ask? Well, it's because of a deal that Warner Bros. Discovery and A24 have in place. If you didn't know, MaXXXine is an A24 movie, and Warner Bros. Discovery owns Max. Per the deal, all theatrically released A24 films are to head to HBO, Max, and Cinemax after their theatrical runs.

An official streaming release date hasn't been announced yet, but there's a high possibility that the horror movie could land on Max sometime in November 2024. We came to this release prediction by looking at when previous theatrically released A24 movies have dropped on Max, which have been between 17 and 20 weeks after their theater debuts.

However, keep in mind that this is just a streaming release prediction. MaXXXine could come earlier or later than what we predicted. Once the official Max streaming release date is revealed, you'll be the first to know.

There's also a possibility that the horror movie could come to Netflix in the future. We've seen Netflix acquire other A24 movies in the past, like Bodies Bodies Bodies and Everything Everywhere All at Once. However, there's no current word on if the streaming giant will acquire the licensing rights to MaXXXine. Don't worry. If the streamer does ever end up adding this film to its library, we'll definitely let you know right away.

But for now, the only way you can watch MaXXXine is by renting or purchasing it on digital platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube, Vudu, or Apple TV.
