What to watch on Netflix this week (Sept. 16-20): Tyler Henry, Lopez vs. Lopez, and more

It's finally that time of year when handfuls of new television shows make their premiere on the small screen. Fall TV begins and overflows our watch lists on almost every streaming service. But before you dive into all the new shows this season has to offer, Netflix has some new titles arriving this week that are easy to watch while juggling a busy television schedule.

Looking for an exciting live show that promises emotion and surprises? Trying to catch up on a new small-screen comedy favorite before its new season returns? How about an unscripted series about the issues our world faces today and an animated series from Zack Snyder? There's a little bit of something for whatever you're looking for in order to easy into the fall TV rush.

Before the weekend brings the biggest Netflix new releases of the week, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and His Three Daughters, here are four titles to add to your watch list this week!

Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry

Well-known medium Tyler Henry returns to Netflix with a new weekly live series called Live from the Other Side with Tyler Henry. In the new series, Henry meets with celebrity guests to give them readings, which in turn helps provide hope and healing. The medium will put his skills on display live for the world to see beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m. ET, after which a total of eight episodes will stream live each Tuesday until Nov. 5.

Lopez vs. Lopez season 2

The latest season of George and Mayan Lopez's sitcom Lopez vs. Lopez drops on Netflix on Wednesday, Sept. 18. Lopez and his real-life daughter play an estranged father and daughter coming back into each other's lives and living together. The first season, which contains 22 episodes, is now streaming on Netflix, and the second season's 10 episodes arrive this week ahead of the October premiere of season 3 on NBC. What's Next? The Future with Bill Gates

In the five-episode documentary series What's Next? The Future with Bill Gates, the tech multi-billionaire and global health and climate philanthropist Bill Gates takes a closer look at some of the issues that are causing an impact on our world. Gates takes on AI, social media and misinformation, climate change, poverty, and deadly diseases with help from guests like Anthony Fauci, Bono, Lady Gaga, Bernie Sanders, and more renown individuals. Twilight of the Gods

Following his four Rebel Moon releases on Netflix, Zack Snyder next takes on Twilight of the Gods in the eight-episode animated series. The new anime-inspired series centers on Norse mythology and its well-known personalities, including Thor and Loki, as Sigrid and Leif get married. In the aftermath, a battle breaks out, and it's an epic reimagining of these stories. If you're a fan of Norse mythology and you're in the market for a new action-packed animated series, add this one to your watch list on Sept. 19.
