We might have just met two new Outer Banks characters for season 4 (rumor)

Calling all OBX fans! We'll get to see our favorite Pogues back on our screens before we know it because Outer Banks season 4 has been confirmed for a 2024 release! Although we don't have an official release date just yet, we're most likely looking at a late 2024 release. Of course, you can count on us to get back to you with the release date once it's announced.

As of February 2024, the cameras are still rolling, and the cast and crew are hard at work making the fourth season. Who's in the season 4 cast, you ask? Well, there's Chase Stokes (John B), Madelyn Cline (Sarah), Madison Bailey (Kiara), Jonathan Daviss (Pope), Rudy Pankow (JJ), Carlacia Grant (Cleo), Drew Starkey (Rafe), Austin North (Topper) and so many others.

Now, we're hearing of a rumor going around that there will be two new characters introduced this season. Surprisingly, this is the first we heard of new cast additions for the fourth season. Another rumor is that a cast member from season 3 will be reprising their role in Outer Banks season 4. This cast member was actually introduced last season, but they're rumored to be coming back for the brand-new season. So, who is this mystery person?

Well, it's none other than Fiona Palomo, who plays Sofia in the teen series. Sofia doesn't appear much in the third season, but what we learn from her is that she's a Pogue but wishes to be a Kook. She also befriends Rafe, and it seems like something more than friendship might be brewing between them.

According to a user on Reddit, they noticed that under Fiona's IMDb page, it says that she'll be in one episode of Outer Banks season 4. That episode is believed to be the first episode of the season. However, we'll have to view this rumor with a grain of salt because neither Netflix nor the Outer Banks creative team have confirmed her return. Also, IMDb doesn't always share accurate information. If there's ever confirmation of Fiona coming back to play Sofia, we'll be sure to let you know right away.

Now, when it comes to the rumored new characters, this same Reddit user noticed that on the actors Dettric Jones and Alex Livinalli's IMDb pages, it listed them as being in the upcoming Outer Banks season 4. Jones is rumored to be playing a character named Dante while Livinalli (pictured above) would be playing a character named Buffalo. Both are listed to appear in only the first episode of season 4. But again, these cast additions have not been confirmed. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they do end up being in the fourth season. Netflix could be waiting to make a cast announcement.
