We finally know when the Bridgerton season 3 trailer will drop (and it's sooner than you think!)
Dearest readers, Netflix has just announced some very good news regarding the highly anticipated Bridgerton season 3. We're only a month away from the third season's release, and you know what that means. The release of the official trailer! Netflix has finally announced the release date on when it will be dropping the trailer, and it's sooner than you think. How soon? A day soon!
Yes, you read that right. On Thursday, April 11, 2024, Netflix will be releasing the official trailer for Bridgerton season 3. The streamer will most likely release the trailer on its official YouTube account and its official X page. While it's unknown what time the trailer will drop, there's a possibility it might be released at 10 a.m. ET since that's when the streamer usually releases content like this. However, this is just a prediction. Netflix could release the trailer earlier or later than this time. We'll just have to wait and see.
When announcing that the trailer would be coming on April 11, Netflix decided to share a short 36-second video of some of the cast in character reading a social pamphlet from Lady Whistledown. The pamphlet is supposed to say that the trailer is coming on April 11. As each character reads the pamphlet, they all give a different reaction. But you know whose reaction stood out the most to us? Penelope Featherington's aka Lady Whistledown herself. Looking as regal as ever, she reads the pamphlet, looks up at the camera, and then smirks. We were already excited to see her love story be told, but now we just can't wait any longer. Can May 16 get her faster? Seriously!
Check out the trailer announcement video below to get pumped up for the trailer's release!
This season, we'll see Penelope enter the marriage mart. After overhearing Colin talk badly about her to his friends in the season 2 finale, Penelope is completely done with him and is ready to find a husband who will love her and let her have some independence. That way, she can continue to live a double life as Lady Whistledown.
Sensing that Penelope is pushing him away, Colin offers to help her build her confidence so that she can find a suitable husband. But things become complicated once Colin finds himself catching feelings for Penelope. As Penelope starts to catch the eyes of different suitors, Colin has to grapple with his confusing feelings for her. But he better figure out what he wants quickly before one of her suitors comes in and swoops her off her feet. Yes, we're talking about you, Lord Debling (Sam Phillips).
Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton reprise their roles from previous seasons as Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton in Bridgerton season 3. Also joining them in the cast are Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, Hannah Dodd, and many others.
The Bridgerton season 3 trailer is set to drop on April 11. Make sure to save the date. Also, don't forget to mark your calendar for May 16 and June 13. These are the dates that part 1 (episodes 1-4) and part 2 (episodes 5-8) of season 3 will be released on Netflix.
