Love was in the air on Valentine's Day morning as Netflix gifted fans with a special sneak peek at the upcoming third season of Bridgerton and Netflix was feeling quite generous! Not only did the streaming studio bring fans a discussion with the cast and creative team, but they also offered up a few special surprises including the titles for this season's eight episodes!

While the creative team played coy in holding back on giving too many spoilers, new showrunner Jess Brownell had the honor of giving fans watching around the world their first look at the episode titles for this season which include some intriguing titles as well as a nod to the book that inspired the season. Let's take a look at the eight episode titles for season 3:

Episode 1 - Out of the Shadows
Episode 2 - How Bright the Moon
Episode 3 - Forces of Nature
Episode 4 - Old Friends
Episode 5 - Tick Tock
Episode 6 - Romancing Mister Bridgerton
Episode 7 - Joining of Hands
Episode 8 - Into the Light

Okay, this is a lot to process so let's start with the biggest episode title of the group: Episode 6. Romancing Mister Bridgerton is of course the name of the book in Julia Quinn's series that explores Colin and Penelope's love story which seems to hint that perhaps episode 6 might be one of the bigger episodes of the season.

In season 1, The Duke and I was used as the episode title for the fifth episode which was a major turning point episode for Daphne and Simon. Meanwhile, season 2's finale was titled "The Viscount Who Loved Me" pulling inspiration from the book that inspired Anthony and Kate's story and was also a major episode that saw Kate and Anthony's story come to a head. If season 3 follows this trend, we could be in store for a major Penelope and Colin episode in episode 6.

"Old Friends" could take many meanings, but we have to wonder if perhaps the episode could be referencing Penelope's friendship with Eloise. The pair ended season 2 at odds when Eloise discovered Penelope's secret and it seems it's going to take some time for the friends to mend fences in the new season. Could episode 4's title perhaps hint at the episode being the one in which they patch things up?

It's also possible that this episode could be the turning point in Penelope and Colin's relationship. This is a friends-to-lover story and with episode 4 being the mid-season finale, it seems primed to be the episode when the pair start flirting more with their feelings and their friendship begins evolving.

We're also here for the reflection in the premiere and finale episode titles with the premiere being "Out of the Shadows" and the finale being "Into the Light". We love the way the titles seem to capture the journey Penelope is sure to go on this season coming out of the shadows at the start of the season and finally walking into the light as the season comes to a close!

Bridgerton season 3 part 1 arrives on May 16, and Part 2 arrives a month later on June 13.
