It's the first full week back to the grind after the Fourth of July holiday long weekend, and you're likely looking to keep things low key. Why not stay in and watch some of the latest Netflix new releases? Thankfully, the streamer has plenty of awesome titles to keep you company this week.
The first of three Netflix original series finales premieres this week with the third and final season of Vikings: Valhalla. Our heroes bid farewell with the final battle, but another battle is just getting started on Netflix with the release of the new NFL docuseries Receiver.

Vikings: Valhalla ends
For one last time, we're going on an adventure with Freydis, Harald, and Leif in Vikings: Valhalla season 3. The final season contains eight episodes and drops in full on Thursday, July 11. In season 3, we pick back up with the trio seven years after the events of season 2 having achieved success. But they will inevitably faces even more challenges before it's all said and done. Watch the final battle and see how it all comes to an end with the week's biggest new release!
Receiver kicks off
It might not be football season just yet, but there's some football coming to Netflix this week. Ahead of Netflix's first foray into streaming live NFL games on Christmas Day this year, the streamer follows up its hit docuseries Quarterback with the new edition called Receiver. The eight-episode series follows a group of the NFL's top receivers during the 2023 football season and offers behind-the-scenes glimpses of their lives on and off the field. Catch the series on July 10.
Bad Boys classics
Now that the fourth film, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, has hit the big screen, it's the perfect time to revisit the franchise's past hits. Luckily, Netflix added the 1995 original Bad Boys and the 2004 sequel Bad Boys II on July 8. Unfortunately, you will have to look elsewhere for the third movie, 2020's Bad Boys for Life, but get excited for Ride or Die to make its way to Netflix later this year. First, revel in all of the nostalgia of the first two entries in the blockbuster action series!
Hannah Berner brings the LOLs
If Vikings: Valhalla ending and Receiver making you relive the Super Bowl has you down, count on Hannah Berner to provide some much needed laughs this week. The comedian, social media personality, and former Summer House star premieres her first Netflix comedy special with We Ride at Dawn on July 9. If you have chuckled at any of her TikTok videos, you're going to love Berner branching out with her raunchy and hilarious hourlong special!
