Every day, it seems as though there's a new streaming service to subscribe to or a new price hike for the existing streamers. And if it's neither of those options putting some strain on our wallets in the name of entertainment, it's a new bundle combining two or more streamers together. For consumers, it can be a lot, overwhelming, and sometimes unnecessary.

But some of the latest bundles make a lot of sense for consumers and tend to have cost-cutting measures that allow us to get more bang for our buck when it comes to binge-watching. Disney+ and Hulu was a natural fit, and it's one of the best bundles available, as is the Paramount+ with Showtime combo. There's even more bundles in the works, but Verizon has one that's extra enticing.

Netflix and Peacock bundled by Verizon

Variety reports that Verizon customers have the option to subscribe to the Peacock Premium annual subscription plan with ads, which comes with a $79.99 per year price tag (as of the July 2024 price increase), and receive a full year of Netflix Premium tier free for one year. The cost for this Netflix subscription would cost costumers upwards of $275 each year.

Verizon began the offer on July 18 and will allow customers to snag the deal until Aug. 31, according to Variety. Honestly, just in terms of saving money, it's worth the price on paper. Not only are you getting Netflix at a significantly discounted rate, you're getting two streaming services for much lower than the price of one. It's definitely an excellent option to consider for Verizon customers.

If you're hesitant on jumping on the deal because you aren't sure what's even available on Peacock, the NBCUniversal streaming service has so much content worth checking, spanning recent releases and throwbacks. Obviously, sports fans can check out various games on the platform, including the 2024 Olympics. The deal is perfectly timed to coincide with Olympics coverage.

Beyond the Olympics connection to it all, Peacock also houses some of the most popular reality television series that everyone's talking about, including The Traitors and Love Island. You can watch new movies, old movies, original series, throwback sitcoms, and more. NBC, Bravo, Hallmark, WWE, and other brands have tons of content on Peacock, too.

The new Verizon bundle deal is worth it for Peacock, but it's also worth it for those who might have canceled their Netflix subscriptions because they're waiting for their favorite show to return. Now's the time to catch up on some of the latest Netflix new releases for free for a year! And you're just in time to watch over a dozen AMC shows hitting Netflix in August.

Verizon customers who are interested in taking advantage of the Netflix and Peacock bundle deal can check it out on the wireless company's +play platform.
