The Undervale animated series from Dan Harmon coming to Netflix

Netflix has ordered a new adult animated series titled The Undervale, and you won't believe who is behind it! More on this show below.

The Undervale is described as an adult animated comedy series. Matt Roller, who is known for previously writing for other adult animated shows such as Rick and Morty, Archer and Agent Elvis, serves as the creator and showrunner. He is also signed on as an executive producer along with Chris McKenna, Steve Levy, and Ricky and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon. Additionally, Chris Prynoski, Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina of Titmouse will executive produce, with Erica Hayes serving as the supervising director. Titmouse will also be providing the animation.

The show centers around a single mother of two who struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother. But here's where things get interesting. The estranged brother isn't actually living. He's a ghost, and he's been talking to some of the other ghosts at the hotel. He believes they have some "pretty good ideas." What those ideas are remains unknown, but we can't wait to find out.

Since The Undervale was just greenlit by Netflix, we're not expecting a release date announcement anytime soon. However, we're hoping the filmmaking process doesn't take too long. We can't wait to see which actors are cast in this series. We vote The Bear's Ayo Edebiri, but she might be too busy working on other projects. Don't worry!
