It's only been a day since its release, and the new thriller limited series The Perfect Couple has already secured a spot on Netflix's top 10 TV show list. In fact, it's sitting at the No. 1 spot as of Sept. 6, meaning it's Netflix's most popular show at the moment. But should we really be surprised? I mean, if you just take a look at who's in the cast, that's enough to make you want to watch it. The show's premise will pull you in as well!

If you're an avid book fan, chances are you've heard about New York Times bestselling author Elin Hilderbrand's book The Perfect Couple. Well, that's what this Netflix thriller limited series is based on. It centers around a young woman named Amelia, who is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket, the Winbury family. But things take a tragic turn when, on the morning of the wedding, a dead body is found floating in the Nantucket Harbor. Now, Amelia, the Winbury family, and every wedding guest are now all suspects in a murder case.

Nicole Kidman, Liev Schreiber, Eve Hewson, Billy Howle, Meghann Fahy, Donna Lynne Champlin, Jack Reynor, Michael Beach, Ishaan Khatter, Sam Nivola, Mia Isaac, Dakota Fanning and many others star in this six-episode adaptation on Netflix.

The Watcher (2022)

Look, I know The Watcher season 2 is currently in the works, but this show was initially billed as a limited series. That's why it's included on the list. It's a Netflix show created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan. The first season is based on the true story of the Broaddus family, who, after shortly moving into their dream home in Westfield, New Jersey, began receiving threatening letters from a mysterious stalker calling themselves "The Watcher." However, the family's name is changed to Brannocks in the Netflix series.

The talented cast is made up of Naomi Watts, Bobby Cannavale, Isabel Gravitt, Luke David Blumm, Jennifer Coolidge, Margo Martindale, Richard Kind, Mia Farrow, Terry Kinney, Christopher McDonald, Noma Dumezweni, Joe Mantello, and Henry Hunter Hall.

Behind Her Eyes (2021)

Based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Sarah Pinborough, Behind Her Eyes follows a single mother named Louise Barnsley, whose life is turned upside down after she begins an affair with a married man and then befriends his wife. As her relationship with the mysterious couple deepens, she eventually finds herself entering into a world of twisted mind games.

Kiss Me First actress Simona Brown stars as the protagonist, Louise Barnsley. Joining her in the cast are Eve Hewson, Tom Bateman, Robert Aramayo, Tyler Howitt, Georgie Glen, Nichola Burley, Roshan Seth, Nila Aalia, and Eva Birthistle.

Created by Tony Ayres and Christian White, Clickbait stars Entourage's Adrian Grenier as a loving family man named Nick Brewer, who ends up kidnapped by a mysterious abductor. Fool Me Once (2024)

Fool Me Once is easily one of Harlan Coben's best Netflix shows. It's based on his 2016 mystery-thriller novel of the same name. The story follows Maya Stern, an ex-soldier and grieving wife who, after believing her husband was dead, discovers that he might be alive after he appears on her nanny cam set up for their daughter. Now, Maya is on a desperate search for answers.

Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan leads the cast as Maya Stern. The rest of the cast includes Dino Fetscher, Richard Armitage, Joanna Lumley, Adeel Akhtar, Emmett J. Scanlan, Marcus Garvey, Dänya Griver, Natalie Anderson, and others.

The Innocent (2021)

The Innocent is another Harlan Coben Netflix show. It stars well-known Spanish actor Mario Casas as Mateo Vidal, a college student who finds himself landed in prison after accidentally killing another man during a bar fight.

Years later, Mateo is released from prison and works to rebuild his life with his pregnant wife, Olivia. But things take a left turn when, one day, he receives an alarming phone call from her. Mateo then realizes that no matter how hard he tries to put his past behind him, it will somehow find a way to return to haunt him.
