The cutest animated kids' show is now on Netflix for your dino-loving tots
Are you looking for a new show for your kids to watch? If so, you should check out Bad Dinosaurs on Netflix. It was released on the streaming platform on March 28, and it's already locked down a spot on the streamer's top 10 TV shows list. This means tons of people are watching the kids' show. However, this is not surprising because we watched an episode of the series and noticed how entertaining and colorful it was. It could easily capture any kid's interest.
We first learned of Bad Dinosaurs back in June 2022, when Netflix announced its slate of brand-new animated films and series coming to the platform in the future. However, we thought the show would be coming out sometime in 2023, but it was given a 2024 release instead.
It's a British kids' animated series produced by Snafu Pictures, a U.K.-based film production company. This is Snafu Pictures' debut animated project. It's also based on a series of popular online shorts co-created by Joel Veitch. In addition, Veitch, David Shute, and Alex Mallinson created the show. The first season consists of eight 20-minute episodes, so it's a pretty easy show to binge-watch. When it comes to the target audience, it's rated TV-Y7, meaning it's mainly suitable for ages 7 and up.
What you'll notice from just the first couple of minutes of the kid animated series is that the characters do not talk. I'm not saying this to try to deter you from letting your kids watch this show. I'm saying this because some kids might not enjoy shows where there's no actual dialogue and just action. I just want to make sure you're informed.
Bad Dinosaurs is set in the Mesozoic period and follows the adventures and hilarious shenanigans of a Tyrannosaurus family as they explore their colorful prehistoric world while being surrounded by other silly dinosaurs.
If you just take a look at the exciting official teaser below, you'll understand why so many kids are watching this animated series.
Netflix describes Bad Dinosaurs as a "high-octane thrill ride," and the streamer definitely wasn't lying. Your kids will absolutely love this series and won't be able to stop laughing throughout. Hopefully, Bad Dinosaurs gets renewed for a second season because these lovable dinosaurs deserve to go on more adventures.
