The Conners are coming to Netflix! The first five seasons drop in March 2024
Netflix has released its full list of upcoming shows and movies coming to the platform in March 2024, and guess what show made the list? The Conners! The streaming giant has acquired the streaming rights to the first five seasons of the comedy sitcom, and we couldn't be more excited.
The Conners is a follow-up to the comedy sitcom Roseanne. It was developed by Bruce Helford, Bruce Rasmussen, and Dave Caplan and created by Matt Williams. The first season premiered on ABC back in October 2018, and the show has seen much success since then. There have been a total of five seasons so far, with a sixth season currently airing. Unfortunately, the sixth season won't be landing on Netflix with the other seasons. But there's still a chance it could come to the streaming platform in the future. It just needs to finish airing on ABC first. Then, Netflix could look at licensing it.
The show centers around the working-class Conner family. After the sudden death of the matriarch of the Conner family, the rest of the family members find themselves having to cope with the daily struggles of life in Lanford, Illinois, "in a way they never have before."
Emmy Award-winning actor John Goodman leads the cast in the role of Dan Conner. Laurie Metcalf, Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, Michael Fishman, Emma Kenney, Ames McNamara, Jayden Rey, Maya Lynne Robinson, and Jay R. Ferguson join Goodman in the main cast.
When is The Conners coming to Netflix?
Get ready because all five seasons of The Conners are slated to come to Netflix on Wednesday, March 27, 2024! The show will most likely drop on the streaming platform at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on its release date because that's when Netflix usually drops new content on its platform. It'll be joining other licensed sitcoms already on the streamer, such as Young Sheldon, Gilmore Girls, Community, Seinfeld, The Good Place and Kim's Convenience.
Since March 27 is quite far off from now, you might not be able to wait that long for the show to land on Netflix. Well, you have the option to purchase individual episodes or full seasons of the show through Vudu, Google Play, or Apple TV at various prices. It's up to you.
But we know what we'll be doing in March, and that's binge-watching our way through all five seasons of The Conners on Netflix. You should definitely join us!
