What's the deal with the AI?

Apart from changing locations to the states, one of the other biggest twists in the game is the introduction of "Max," an AI bot that will be catfishing as a 26-year-old from the Midwest. Per Netflix's Tudum website, the unorthodox cast mate has been "studying" previous seasons to learn how best to mask its true identity.

Tudum promises that Max will be "be acting on his own — without the interference of producers — to establish genuine connections with his competitors." That means he won't be armed with any extra knowledge or intel on the other players.

Just a few more days until The Circle season 6 premieres. Add the series to your Netflix watchlist to receive a reminder when it releases.
