The Believers cast: Here's who stars in the Thai crime drama series

At the beginning of the year, Netflix unveiled its entire 2024 Thai slate, including seven shows and one movie. So far, the only Thai show released this year is the romantic comedy series Ready, Set, Love. Next up is the crime drama series The Believers, which you'll want to check out. It's set to be released on Netflix on March 27.

The Believers is a much-anticipated Thai Netflix original helmed by Wattanapong Wongwan. Wongwan is also known for directing all episodes of the Thai drama series Someone. In addition, Watcharapol Paksri, Aummaraporn Phandintong, Perapat Rukngam, Jiraporn Sae-lee, and Asamaporn Samakphan wrote the scripts for The Believers, while Joy Luck Club Film House and Deluxe Production were the production companies behind the series.

After their startup business fails, three young and ambitious entrepreneurs begin drowning in debt. But things start looking up for them when they stumble upon an unconventional "business opportunity" where they exploit people’s religious beliefs for profit.

Young Thai actor James Teeradon Supapunpinyo portrays the role of Win, a computer engineer dropout who leads the trio of ambitious entrepreneurs in marketing planning. James is best known for starring as Sun in the hit Thai teen series Hormones: The Series. He also played the role of Nanai in one episode of Girl from Nowhere season 2 and had a guest role in the Thai fantasy drama series The Stranded. Both of these shows are available to stream on Netflix as well.

Thai singer and actress Ally Achiraya Nitibhon stars as Dear in The Believers. Dear is Win's best friend, a graphic designer who also oversees the team's PR. You might recognize Ally from her previous role as teenage Jane in the Thai rom-com Brother of the Year.

To round out the trio of entrepreneurs is Game, played by Peach Pachara Chirathivat. Netflix describes Game as an "adventurous teenager who brings funding to the table." Peach is a Thai actor and singer best known for starring in the Thai movies SuckSeed and The Billionaire.
