Simone's love triangle choice heated up with this shocking All American: Homecoming season 3 casting news

It's a great day for All American: Homecoming fans! We just learned some good news about the new season. Unfortunately, it's not the third season's premiere date, but it's still something I'm sure many fans will be happy to know.

It's some new casting news for season 3. It's been reported that Martin Bobb-Semple, who plays Orlando 'Lando' Johnson in the sports drama, has been bumped up to a series regular for the upcoming All American: Homecoming season 3.

Lando is a college baseball player who transfers to Bringston University in the second season. While he and Simone (Geffri Maya) don't initially get along, they begin to bond over time and develop feelings for one another. But Lando isn't the only guy vying for Simone's affection. Fellow Bringston baseball player Damon Sims (Peyton Alex Smith) also has romantic feelings for Simone, and vice versa. This puts Simone in a tricky situation where she has to choose between the two.

At the end of the season 2 finale, Simone finally comes to a decision and texts the person she wants to be with to come meet her. However, we don't get to see who the person is, leaving the season 2 finale on a cliffhanger. Now, with this new casting news, we think we might know who Simone chose.

In July 2023, it was reported that Peyton Alex Smith, who portrays Damon, was bumped down to a recurring role for All American: Homecoming season 3 along with one other actor. Sadly, this means we'll be seeing a lot less of Damon in the third season.

With Bobb-Semple being promoted to series regular and Smith being dropped down to recurring, this leads us to believe that Simone chose Lando. I mean, it wouldn't make sense for Smith to return as a recurring role if Simone chose Damon instead. However, this is just speculation and we won't know for sure who Simone chose until the third season actually airs. But we think there's a high chance that the mystery guy she meets up with in the season 2 finale is Lando.
