Outer Banks season 4 rumors: Could Rafe be teaming up with the Pogues?

Since finding out that Outer Banks season 4 will be coming to Netflix this year, we've been on high alert when it comes to any new updates or news about the new season. We've recently learned of a rumor about two new cast additions. Now there's this video going around of Drew Starkey (Rafe) and Rudy Pankow (JJ) chatting while on set of the fourth season. That's interesting seeing as though their characters hate each other.

The last time we saw the Pogues, they were being awarded for solving the 500-year-old mystery and finding El Dorado. They were then propositioned by an older man to find the English Pirate Blackbeard's treasure. While plot details haven't been revealed yet for season 4, this is most likely what it will focus on. We'll see John B and Co on yet another treasure hunt.

But something that has somewhat confused us is a new behind-the-scenes video of some of the cast on set of Outer Banks season 4. Based on a short 15-second TikTok by a user whose handle is @anasmasmouh, it looks like the cast and crew are currently shooting scenes in Morocco. But the clip that sticks out the most from the video is of Starkey and Pankow talking while in what seems to be a market. However, it's unclear if they're in character and are actually shooting a scene or if the cameras are cut and they're just chatting as themselves.

What we do know is that this short video has fans talking and what we're hearing is that they want to see Rafe and the Pogues join forces in the upcoming season. I mean, I would like to see this happen too, but I just don't know how. Rafe has done so many bad things to the Pogues in the past three seasons that I'm not sure if they'll be able to move past it and team up with him. But maybe they'll feel bad for him since Ward is now dead. Honestly, Rafe would be a great addition while they're on their new treasure hunt. He might be a loose cannon at times, but he'd be helpful on the protection front. I guess we'll have to wait and see, though.

After seeing this video, we're even more excited about the upcoming Outer Banks season 4. We can't wait to see how the Pogues' journey continues and find out what leads them to Morocco. We just know it's going to be another great season!
