Over the years, some of Netflix's best shows have been limited series. The Queen's Gambit, Maid, Fool Me Once, and DAHMER are just a few examples of the most popular Netflix shows of all time. Well, lucky for us, there are so many Netflix limited series that are still to come in 2024!

We're finally starting to see shows that filmed after the actors' and writers' strikes of 2023 start to hit Netflix, and there are even more new shows coming to Netflix later this year.

Let's get the list started with the next limited series coming Netflix, The Perfect Couple.

The Perfect Couple

  • Release date: Sept. 5, 2024
  • Created by Jenna Lamia
  • Cast: Nicole Kidman, Meghann Fahy, Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning, Jack Reynor, Eve Hewson, Ishaan Khattar, Billy Howle, and more

The Perfect Couple has all the makings of a huge hit on Netflix! The Netflix original series is based on the book of the same name by Elin Hilderbrand. Nicole Kidman stars in the murder mystery series alongside an incredible cast.

According to Netflix, The Perfect Couple is set during a wedding weekend in Nantucket, but then, they find a body, and there's officially a mystery to solve.

I haven't read the book series the six-episode Netflix series is based, but I'd like to! It sounds great! Of all the shows on the list, I think I'm most excited about this one.

If I had to bet, I'd bet on The Perfect Couple being the biggest of the bunch. And, that's actually quite the bold prediction because there's another season of Monster on the way this year, but more on that in a moment.

Senna

  • Release date: Nov. 29, 2024
  • Created by Vicente Amorim
  • Cast: Gabriel Leone, Matt Mella, Pâmela Tomé, Patrick Kennedy, Gabriel Louchard, and more

Senna is a new Netflix original limited series, and it's coming to Netflix in a few months. Senna premieres on Nov. 29, 2024. That's the post-Thanksgiving holiday release on Netflix, so we know the streamer has high hopes for this one. Given its proximity to F1: Drive to Survive, there's no doubt that this is going to be a hit.

Senna tells the true story of one of the most famous drivers in Formula 1 history, Ayrton Senna, who died in a crash in 1994 in Italy.

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story

  • Created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan
  • Cast: Javier Bardem, Chloë Sevigny, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Cooper Koch, Ari Graynor, Nathan Lane, Dallas Roberts, Leslie Grossman, Jason Butler Harner, Enrique Murciano, and more

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is the second season of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan's Monster series on Netflix. DAHMER, the first season of the series, is one of the most popular Netflix shows of all time, so we know Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story is going to be one of the biggest shows of the year.

The series is based on the true story of Lyle and Erik Menendez, two brothers who were responsible for killing their parents in 1989. After their death of their parents, allegations of years of mistreatment and abuse came to light.

Netflix hasn't announced the release date for Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story yet, but Ted Sarandos just teased the new series is coming sometime later this year at the latest Netflix earnings call. We're expecting Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story to be released on Netflix sometime during the holiday season of 2024.

Black Doves

  • Cast: Keira Knightley, Sarah Lancashire, Ben Whishaw, Adeel Akhtar, Andrew Koji, Kathryn Hunter, Omari Douglas, Tracey Ullman, and more

Black Doves is created by Joe Barton. According to Netflix, the upcoming limited series tells the story of the wife of a politician, Helen, played by Keira Knightley, who is part of a secret spy organization known as The Black Doves. Helen finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery when someone close to her is killed. The series is set over the Christmas holidays.

Black Doves doesn't have a release date yet, but I think it's going to be a Christmas release simply because that's what it's about! The six-episode Netflix original series arrives this year; we know that for sure, but we'll have to wait a while to find out the release date.
