September is quickly coming to an end, and spooky season is about to kick it into high gear. That said, Netflix doesn't have too many spooky or scary additions just yet. This week, their new movies and shows include a new drama series, a comedy series, and a new documentary.
First up this week is Penelope! The new drama hits Netflix on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024 and follows a young girl who leaves her modern life when she is pulled into the wild and starts her new life. This coming-of-age wilderness story comes from Mark Duplass and stars Megan Stott, Austin Abrams, and Cynthia Geary.

Nobody Wants This is also headed to Netflix this week. The comedy series starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody comes to Netflix on Thursday, Sept. 26. The show follows a less-than-traditional rabbi and an agnostic sex podcaster as they meet and start a relationship. To say it's complicated would be an understatement.

Will & Harper is also headed to Netflix this week on Friday, Sept. 27. The documentary follows Will Ferrell and his best friend, Harper Steele, as they travel the country. They talk about their friendship and how it started, Harper's transition, and starting a new chapter in their friendship. This looks like it will be highly emotional. Bring the tissues!
