Netflix is adding 39 new movies and shows this week (Feb. 25, 2024)

February comes to an end and March begins this week and with that comes a bunch of new movies and shows to Netflix. This week, the new additions include a new season of a mystery series, a new Netflix Original sci-fi drama, and a new season of a food travel show.

First up this week is season 2 of The Tourist. The series stars Jamie Dornan, Danielle Macdonald, and Greg Larsen, and follows Dornan's character, Elliot, as he tries to figure out who he is after a major car crash. He wakes up in the Australian Outback and has the help of police officer Helen Chambers, but the more they discover, the more questions there are. The new season comes to Netflix on Thursday, Feb 29, 2024.

Spaceman also hits Netflix this week. The sci-fi drama comes to Netflix on Friday, March 1. The movie stars Adam Sandler, Carey Mulligan, Paul Dano, Kunal Nayyar, Isabella Rossellini, and Lena Olin and follows the story of an astronaut on a solo mission who struggles with the life he left back on Earth. He also discovers ancient creatures in his ship who are there to help him change his life.

More in the mood for some food? Season 7 of Somebody Feed Phil hits Netflix on Friday, March 1. The show will once again follow Phil Rosenthal as he travels around the world trying new and delicious foods with his friends. Some of the places he's going to this time include Dubai, Kyoto, Washington D.C., Scotland, and Orlando.
