Meet the star-studded cast of Netflix's heist drama Bandidos

Don't you just love a good heist drama? Well, Netflix has just what you need in its upcoming series Bandidos. It's scheduled to be released on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, and we've shared all you need to know about it right below.

We first learned of Bandidos back in April 2023, when Netflix announced that the Mexican show was officially in production. Pablo Tébar, who's known for writing for the TV shows Tierra de lobos, Serve and Protect and Diablero, was revealed to be the creator and showrunner. In addition, Stacy Perskie was announced to be producing. We later found out that Adrian Grunberg, who's best known for helming the movies Rambo: Last Blood and Get the Gringo, would be directing. He, along with Mark Holder, Christine Holder, and Andrew Wilson, are executive producers.

It's a thriller series about an underwater heist. I don't know about you, but this already seems like an interesting watch. It follows a crew of skilled misfits as they venture on a daring quest underwater in search of a long-hidden Mayan treasure. It's called the Snake King's treasure, and they're not the only ones after it.

Pictured above to the right is Alfonso Dosal, who plays quirky thief Miguel in the thriller series. Miguel recruits a group of gifted bandits to go on an underwater adventure in search of a long-lost treasure. You might recognize Dosal from his previous role as Benjamín Arellano Félix in Netflix's Narcos: Mexico. His most recent role was playing Father O'Higgins in Netflix's fantasy series The Chosen One.

Pictured above to the left is Juan Pablo Medina, who portrays Wilson, one of the bandits joining Miguel on the underwater adventure. Medina is best known for starring in the Mexican shows La Casa de las Flores and Ingobernable, both of which can be streamed on Netflix.

Spanish actress and model Ester Expósito plays the role of Lilí in Bandidos, another one of the skilled thieves joining Miguel on his daring quest. Expósito is best known for portraying the beloved character, Carla Rosón Caleruega, in the popular teen series Elite. Some of her other roles were in the TV shows Vis a Vis, Estoy Vivo, La caza. Monteperdido and Someone Has to Die. Her most recent role was playing Mónica in the mystery thriller flick Lost in the Night. Besides Bandidos, we'll see her next in a Spanish-French-Argentine horror movie titled The Wailing.
