Manhunt starring Tobias Menzies is now streaming! (Is it on Netflix?)

A new miniseries is here, and that's Manhunt starring Tobias Menzies! Some of you on Netflix might recognize the actor from seasons 3 and 4 of The Crown, as well as the first three seasons of Outlander. With the two historical dramas on the streamer, is the star's new series on Netflix too?

How to watch Manhunt

Unfortunately, Manhunt is not streaming on Netflix. That's because Apple TV+ owns the exclusive streaming rights to it. While other companies and Netflix have been collaborating over the years and again more recently, Apple TV+ hasn't been one of them. So I doubt the show will ever be added to Netflix. At least not any time soon.

And so, you'll need to head to the other streamer to check it out! The first two episodes began streaming on premiere day, March 15, 2024. They will be followed by one new installment weekly until the finale on Friday, April 19. There's a total of seven episodes. Check out the full release schedule below:

What the Tobias Menzies-led show is about

The conspiracy thriller is based on the non-fiction novel by James L. Swanson, Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer. After President Abraham Lincoln is assassinated, his U.S. Secretary of War and friend Edwin Stanton (Menzies) goes on the hunt to find the person who did it - John Wilkes Booth. As described by Apple TV+, the story is focused on the "best known but least understood crimes in history."

I think this is a really interesting concept and I'm excited to see Menzies in the show! He's such a talented actor, and just based on the trailer I know I'm goign to love him in this role too. Check out the trailer below:
