Love is Blind: UK season 2 will be back in 2025: Everything to know so far

One of the Love is Blind spinoffs has just received the green light for a second season. It's the hit reality show's latest spinoff, Love is Blind: UK. This season 2 renewal comes as somewhat of a surprise, seeing as though the first season hasn't even finished airing. The reunion special is set to be released on Netflix on Aug. 26.

However, we're not totally shocked by this renewal. The Love is Blind franchise has been really successful so far, with there being five spinoffs already released and a UAE and Germany version currently in the works.

Love is Blind: UK season 1 premiered on Netflix on Aug. 7 with its first four episodes, followed by episodes 5-9 on Aug. 14, and episodes 10-11 on Aug. 21. As mentioned above, viewers will get to see the cast get together one last time for the reunion, which is set for an Aug. 26 release on Netflix.

For three weeks, tons of people tuned in to watch a batch of lucky singles in the U.K. hopefully find the one. So far, the new unscripted series has spent two weeks on the Netflix global top 10, which is an impressive feat. Overall, the show has received a positive response, which prompted Netflix to give the go-ahead for a second installment.

Here's what Daisy Lilley, the Director of Unscripted UK Programming at Netflix, had to say about Love is Blind: UK returning for a second season via Netflix:

"The response to [Season] 1 has been fantastic, and we are thrilled to go again on [Season] 2. We’re delighted that Matt and Emma Willis will be back as hosts as more hopeful couples navigate the highs and lows of this unique love experiment."

Casting for future seasons is now open. However, in order to apply, you have to be a U.K. resident and over the age of 18. In addition, a release date has not been announced, but the show is confirmed to come back next year.
