And just like that, the cast and crew have finally finished shooting the highly anticipated Ginny & Georgia season 3. According to Deadline, the cameras officially stopped rolling on the third season on Sept. 13. Ginny & Georgia cast member Sara Waisglass, who plays Maxine "Max" Baker in the hit teen series, just recently took to Instagram to express her excitement about production wrapping.

Honestly, it comes as no surprise that production has wrapped this month. Back in February 2024, there was a rumor going around that the third season would begin filming on April 29, 2024, and run through to September. Principal photography did, in fact, start on this date, with Netflix sharing several photos of the cast at one of their table reads for the third season.

It looks like that rumor was spot on for the wrap date as well, seeing as though production just ended on Sept. 13. Along with the announcement that filming ended, Deadline shared the names of two new cast additions for Ginny & Georgia season 3. Ty Doran (Manifest) and Noah Lamanna (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Beacon 23) join the Ginny & Georgia season 3 cast in recurring roles. Doran portrays Wolfe, Ginny's classmate in her poetry class, while Lamanna plays Tris, a skateboarder and peer tutor who is a close friend of Marcus and Silver.

They join the rest of the already announced cast, such as Brianne Howey (Georgia), Antonia Gentry (Ginny), Felix Mallard (Marcus), Sara Waisglass (Max), Diesel La Torraca (Austin), Jennifer Robertson (Ellen), Scott Porter (Paul), Raymond Ablack (Joe), Katie Douglas (Abby), Chelsea Clark (Norah), and Nathan Mitchell (Zion).

Plot details for season 3 are still being kept secret. However, there's definitely a lot to cover after that shocking season 2 finale which saw Georgia arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller. Unfortunately, Ginny & Georgia season 3 will not be released this year. Instead, it is expected to come out sometime in 2025. Our current release prediction is early 2025, somewhere between January and April. We'll get back to you with the official release date once it's announced.

On Sept. 16, Sara Waisglass shared a heartfelt post on her Instagram to announce that she and the rest of the cast had wrapped filming on the third season. Along with the post were a bunch of photos of her with different cast members.

The caption to the post reads, "if you couldn’t tell, I love my coworkers. we’ve officially wrapped season three! Weeee! I don’t know how to describe how proud I am of the cast and crew this year without breaking some sort of NDA, so for now I will just say thank you for making this show what it is. you people are so effing brilliant and so ridiculously funny and I actually can’t believe I get to work with you all every year. I LOVE YA." Check out the post below.

We can't wait to see all of our favorite characters back on our screens when Ginny & Georgia makes its return with its third season on Netflix next year. We'll continue to keep you in the loop on all things Ginny & Georgia, so make sure to stay tuned to Netflix Life!
