Is Parish on Netflix? Here's where to watch
Giancarlo Esposito is springing back into action in the new series Parish. The Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul alum takes center stage as Gracián “Gray” Parish, a luxury car service owner in New Orleans. After his family-man dynamic takes a sharp turn with the collapse of his business and the murder of his son, his troubled past and life of crime return.
Parish will not be on Netflix
Based on the British series The Driver, Esposito states Parish took eight years to make it to the screen and could be filmed in other cities if renewed for a second season. The trailer hooked me, and anything with Esposito will surely get me watching. Filled with action, suspense, and great acting, I'm positive it'll be a hit. Unfortunately, this isn't a Netflix series, and Parish can be watched on AMC and the next day on AMC+.
Though he returns back to a life of crime, is Gracian Parish really a bad guy or do desperate times call for desperate measures? Being a villain seems to be Esposito's expertise as he's a master of embodying complex characters that effortlessly straddle the line between good and evil. In addition to playing Gus in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, he portrays Stan Edgar in Amazon Prime's The Boys, and Moff Gideon in Disney's Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
