The next chapter of the Lindsay Lohan Netflix romantic comedy cinematic universe has arrived with the release of Irish Wish ahead of St. Patrick's Day weekend. It's Lohan's second Netflix original movie after Falling for Christmas, and the star has another romantic comedy, Our Little Secret, heading our way this holiday season.

In Irish Wish, Lindsay Lohan plays Maddie, a book editor whose best friend gets engaged to the love of her life. Unfortunately, Maddie has to grin and bear it as a bridesmaid in the wedding, which takes place in Ireland. Just ahead of the wedding, Maddie makes a wish for true love, and her wish takes her on an unexpected adventure that changes what she thought she knew about love.

Although Lohan doesn't lend her singing talent to the movie like she did with a cover of "Jingle Bell Rock" in Falling for Christmas, her little sister Aliana Lohan contributes two songs to the Irish Wish soundtrack. The movie also includes a pair of classic throwback songs from two of the most celebrated musicians of all time. We're sharing all of the songs you need to add to your playlist!

All of the songs in Irish Wish

Aside from the songs heard throughout the movie, Irish Wish also boasts a score by Nathan Lanier, who also scored Falling for Christmas. On the same day as the film's release on Netflix, the streamer also released a soundtrack album featuring all 35 tracks from Lanier's score. If you loved hearing it in the movie, make sure to give the score soundtrack a listen!

As mentioned above, Lohan's sister Aliana has two original songs featured in Irish Wish. The first song is called "Armor" and the second, which plays during the end credits, is called "Comin' Home." Aliana previously released "Armor" as a single in September 2023, while "Comin' Home" was released in conjuction with the movie. She co-wrote both of the tracks.

Take a closer look at the songs heard in the movie:

  • "For Real" by JoyBird
  • "I Belong to You" by Caro Emerald
  • "Armor" by Aliana Lohan
  • "Wild Irish Heart" by Michael Damian
  • "Drowsy Maggie" by Studio City Sound Productions
  • "Just Don't Know It Yet" by New Hope Club
  • "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire
  • "Goody Two Shoes" by Adam Ant
  • "Let's Dance" by David Bowie
  • "Perfectly Imperfect" by Declan J. Donovan
  • "Comin' Home" by Aliana Lohan

"September" by Earth, Wind & Fire and "Let's Dance" by David Bowie are the two most popular and recognizable songs in the movie. When they play, you simply can't help but sing along! Admittedly, there aren't too many songs played in the movie, and many of them are likely songs you've heard for the first time. But after hearing a catchy song like "For Real" by JoyBird, lots of viewers are sure to add it right to their playlists.

And while it's not included on the soundtrack within the movie, the trailer used the throwback pop song "Breathless" by The Corrs. No doubt, that song would have fit perfectly in the movie, but even though it ultimately didn't make the cut, its inclusion in the trailer definitely set the rom-com tone. Relive the 2000 hit in the trailer below!
