There's a new teen comedy to check out on Netflix and it's called Incoming. If you're a fan of the movie Superbad, this film will be right up your alley. It follows a group of four friends as they try to navigate their first week of freshman year and their first-ever high school party.

The friend group is made up of Benj, Connor, Koosh, and Eddie. While each has an objective when attending the party, Benj's main goal is to make a move on the girl of his dreams, Bailey. We're not going to spoil if Benj gets the girl or not. You'll have to check out our ending explained for that. However, what we do want to share is the parents guide. Although this film is described as a teen movie, that doesn't always mean it's appropriate for all teens.

What is Incoming rated?

When you think of a teen movie, you probably think it will be rated PG-13. Well, that's not the case for Incoming. This film is rated R, meaning it may be inappropriate for ages under 17. So, no, Incoming is not for all teens. It's really meant for teenagers who are 17 years old or older.

Why? Well, there's a lot of adult material shown in this film that wouldn't be suitable for younger teens to be watching. For example, there's drug use and drinking, sexual content, pervasive language, some violence, and brief nudity.

Here’s a list of some scenes from the raunchy teen comedy that could be considered unsuitable for younger teens:

  • There's excessive cursing throughout this film. There are scenes showing characters using curse words such as f*ck, motherf*cker, a**, sh*t, and b*tch. Vulgar language is also used several times in this movie. For example, words like c*m and d*ck were used by some of the characters in scenes.
  • During the party scenes, teenagers are shown drinking alcohol, vaping, and smoking marijuana. There's even a scene showing characters snorting a substance up their noses.
  • When it comes to sexual content, there's a brief scene showing two characters having sex. Both characters are fully naked, but you can't see their private parts.
  • There's also a scene where a female character's nipple is briefly shown.
  • Lastly, there's a scene in the movie where a bunch of characters start fighting each other. Some people end up bloody from the fight.

Incoming is now available to stream on Netflix. Will you be watching this new movie?
